This book brings us back to the world of the Iron Eagle
Gym. This time we get Damien and Saw’s story. Master Day has come aboard to do the front
desk manager job but he soon realizes that he is going to need some help. When
he meets Saw he knows right away that Saw is the man for him. Saw is more than
reluctant to take the job. Master Day must puzzle out just what is troubling
the man and how he can get Saw to let him in. Will these two find a way to
their happiness or will Saw’s past stop them?
This is the third book in this series but it can be read
as a standalone. We get a few glimpses at Bran from the previous books but Saw
and Day are a brand-new couple and the story revolves around their interactions.
We get to learn a lot about Saw’s past and what has made him act the way that
he does. Day must figure this out and he
works hard to get Saw to be with him. Life can be hard and finding love is a
wonderful thing. Saw must find a way to accept that things happen in life no
matter what and not because of him. It was nice to see Day work so hard to
prove to Saw that their relationship is worth the risk. I enjoyed seeing Saw
open up and begin to trust Master Day. The two go through so much and work hard
to find a happy ever after.
Day and Saw have an interesting story but I found the
narration of this audio book a bit hard to enjoy. The narrator does not give
life to the characters and I felt their conversations to be a bit stilted.
Making it hard to lose myself in their world and enjoy their adventure.
