Jaime has always been thought of as a player by his family and friends but he wants what everyone else wants; a forever love. He longs to find someone to share the rest of his life with just as much as the next person, but finding that person has eluded Jaime all these years, that is until he crosses path with Tate.  The two men are drawn towards each other from the very first time they meet but they are from two different worlds. Yet neither one can forget the sparks from that very first and quick meeting. Jaime decides to take a chance but will Tate reciprocate his feelings or has Jaime imagined it all?

Tate and Jaime’s journey to a happy ever after is full of ups and downs. Tate is seen as a volatile young man but Jaime sees so much more in him and shows Tate that not all men are the same. Jaime has a big heart but has problems of his own and it seems that Tate may be the man to help him through them. It was nice to see these two men find their way through the hurdles of their lives and come out stronger and for the better. I loved seeing their attraction grow into something deeper with the more time they spent together. Along the way trust was earned and love grew between these two men.

Narrator David Ross does a great job of bringing this book to life. I was quickly immersed into the story. It has a great flow and the emotions of the characters come out strongly.  This is a well-paced story full of emotion and character angst that pulls you in and has you rooting for love.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
