The
last person that Jerry would think comes to apologize to him and tries to make
him feel better. Mick has shown what a jerk he can be, and he has always
signaled Jerry out but one day that all changes. Jerry has no idea why and is
curious to know the answer. Is it worth the effort to befriend a man who has
always harassed you and others just for being who they are? Can a man like that
truly change? Mick begins to question all that he has been taught by his father
and questions his own sexuality. Jerry is the one man that might give Mick a
chance to redeem himself and help him understand what he is feeling. Will Jerry
give him a chance to make amends and to maybe explore what could be between
them?
I really enjoyed this story. We get to see another side of Mick and learn why he acts the way that he does. Jerry is a good man and has room in his heart for everyone including Mick. It was nice to watch the friendship grow between Jerry and Mick. Soon feelings grow, and Mick must make a choice. Mick must decide what he truly wants and if he is ready to fight for it. Jerry can only help Mick along so far. It is up to Mick to take the leap for himself. I loved seeing everyone stand by Jerry no matter what his choice is. This is a wonderful story that shows that sometimes people need a second chance to prove themselves worthy and Mick does just that with his chance.
