The last of the unacknowledged Royle sisters is destined to find her mate and a love that will leave her breathless! Elizabeth is the youngest Royle sister to dream of her love and woe and behold, she meets him one day while out and about. That is until she finds out her perfect prince is also engaged to someone else: a princess no less. Well Elizabeth finds herself at a quandary: does she give up her princely dreams and settle for something else or does she fight for her love? Now Elizabeth has to find the man behind the crown and see into his heart because her idea of a perfect love is about to get tested!

Ms. Caskie finishes her Royle Sisters series with a satisfied if boring bang. In this, you meet Elizabeth, the youngest of the Royle Sisters. The Royle Sisters are rumored to be the unacknowledged offspring of Prince George VI. Since two of the sisters found a lasting love, Elizabeth dreams of her one true love and ends up meeting him in the flesh one afternoon. What she doesn’t realize is he is Prince Leopold or so the gossipy assistant tells Elizabeth that day in the jewelers.

Mysteries surround the Royle Sisters and danger loams as Elizabeth goes on a quest to get the man she desires and then comes to see the man behind the crown to the heart of him. Mistaken identity, duty and destiny are the center of this story and soon Elizabeth is caught up in something she has no idea how to get out of or even if she wants to get out of. Secure that she is right and destiny drew her to her love, Elizabeth learns that appearances can be deceiving and to get to the heart of the matter, she must confront the man himself.

Ms. Caskie is a delightful writer but as this reviewer found you have to read the first two in order to get an idea of who Elizabeth is and the mystery that haunts all three sisters. A delightful but flat story, this reviewer got tired of how one dimensional Elizabeth can be at times yet the secondary characters were delightful. All in all, HOW TO PROPOSE TO A PRINCE is a good story that will keep you entertained through an afternoon.
