This is the story of three best friends and the men in their lives.

Kennedy has a love them or leave them philosophy so she feels in control. For Kennedy, men are only good for sex, until she meets the charming and handsome Troy.

Marie is married and while her husband stays home she travels a lot for her job. She likes to flirt and is convinced that what her husband doesn’t know won’t hurt him.

Mai is the devoted wife to her executive husband. She tries to be the perfect hostess. Then she gets a phone call from her husband who is in jail and this throws everything she’s worked for into a tailspin.

These three women cope with upheavals in their lives and challenges to everything they’ve come to believe in.

Now, this reviewer did like this story. It’s very well written, humorous and witty. The characters come alive and the plot keeps the reader turning the pages. Nina Foxx writes a pleasant, juicy drama and keeps her characters on their toes while the worlds they have built up tumble down around them. It was interesting to see how these women coped with the disasters they each faced. Fans of women’s literature will certainly enjoy this story. However, this reviewer did get a tad bored. It read a bit like ‘Desperate Housewives’ which is not a fave of this reviewer’s. So, although this is not quite the type of story that this reviewer usually devours, it was entertaining, interesting and Nina Foxx is definitely a good writer and her fans will enjoy this story for sure.
