Sergeant Tanya Blake is deep in a civilian prison in The Dome as a prisoner of war. She’s aggressive, uncooperative and an enigma to the doctors and scientists. They know that her mind has been tampered with, but they don’t know how or why. So, they call in one of the Dragul’s best mind-specialists, Sorin. Sorin understands the woman and can see the turmoil she is in. Tanya is both attracted to the handsome leather-clad man, but her brain is calling for murder. Twice she tries to kill him and her captors realize they must eliminate her. Sorin knows she is trying to struggle against the hold over her mind. Can he heal her before one of them is killed, or before she kills herself trying to escape?
This is an absolutely fabulous story. I think this is the best one yet and I just loved these two characters. Marie Treanor has written a very gritty, action packed story that is thrilling, adventurous and totally captivating. This is a story that is full of intrigue and the world building is very well done. The romance between Sorin and Tanya is full of emotions as Sorin tries to help her heal her mind. The love scenes are tender, sensual and oh so very satisfying. This is a wonderful mixture of a good plot, great characters and hot sex. Yes, this author is one to watch out for because I believe she can write the kind of stories that will be on the shelves for the world to read.
