Ms. Sapphire Blue has written an interesting tale, one that had me turning pages.
Zena is a CEO of a communications company and has been without sex for too long. She works long hours leaving her no time to socialize. Against her Wiccan beliefs she decides to cast a spell to find love, hoping it doesn’t go wrong because it could be personal gain.
When she invokes the spell it produces far more than she’d expected. Standing before her is a tall, dark sexy, well built and well hung Italian who tells her he is Paolo.
Unsure of herself when she learns he is twenty-five to her thirty-nine, he asks why it is a problem. To him she is perfection, with her beautiful body and soft skin. Unable to stop himself looking at her as Zena turns him on, he touches her breasts. Zena’s nipples harden, and his smouldering eyes make her wet, so what’s a girl to do but give in to the moment.
PERSONAL GAIN is a red hot read with a pinch of magic and lust added in to spice things. Zena is an older woman who learns age is no barrier to great sex, but she has to learn to let go, to enjoy what she’s conjured up.
If you have a yearning for a seriously hot Italian lover in your life, Paolo will satisfy all your urges. Who wouldn’t like a well muscled body with thick dark curls around his aroused private parts above sculpted thighs?
Both of the characters were appealing, well drawn and believable. The story has been well crafted with plenty of action and good interplay between the characters. The sex scenes are well written and believable and the descriptive language is suitable to the amount of heat in the story.
Both characters have hidden agendas adding to the tension and neither dares to voice their fears. The conflict driving the plot was easy to follow and I enjoyed my time reading about them.
