Meljean Brook’s DEMON BOUND is a page turner of the first caliber. Full of intrigue, horror, deceit, unexpected twists and turns, and above all love, this is one book that just doesn’t let go of the reader. And extra kudos to the author for the fact that even though it is the seventh book of the series, it stands totally on its own merits. This is something that this reader finds all to rarely nowadays.
Jason is a character that is all too easy to love. He has his issues but his main goal is to be the best Guardian he can possibly be. He’s sexy, social and easy to be with. What’s not to like about this guy. Alice on the other hand pushes people away. It’s not that she doesn’t care about people in general but she doesn’t want anyone to get mixed up in her troubles. So she is much harder to like but she does really grow on the readers. Readers are also introduced to several other Guardians and even a few vampires that are on the side of the good guys. All the characters are all too real and stay with a person.
If you haven’t checked out this series yet, I highly recommend it. Ms. Brooks have given us a new twist on paranormal romances and it is a good one. Be sure to pick up your copy today!
