The Sinclair siblings have been cast out of Scotland by their father. They must change their ways or else be disinherited. With little money, they are left to fend for themselves. Sterling, the Marquess of Blackburn should have no problems finding himself a wealthy heiress but he wants Isbobel Carrington. Isobel doesn’t want him thus the chase begins.
TO SIN WITH A STRANGER is the first book in this series featuring the Sinclair clan. Sterling is a hero that readers will love. He does what he can to keep his siblings from falling into complete poverty. He makes his money fighting and it is quite admirable that he is willing to take physical beatings to care for his siblings. Sterling’s feelings for Isobel are authentic but he must convince her of his sincerity. Isobel is a woman not easily persuaded. Her perception of Sterling changes as she gets to know him and her heart softens towards him. They make a very enticing duo. There is affection as well as attraction between them and the author does a great job of developing both. Readers will find them to be a very likable and enjoyable lead couple.
TO SIN WITH A STRANGER is a great beginning to this new series. With a lead couple that will pull you into their story, great supporting characters and a nicely paced storyline, it makes for an easy and fast read. We are introduced to the Sinclair family and what an interesting group of people! This reader is very much looking forward to the next book.
