Four brothers all witches in some degree and under a curse when they were born. A race to save their family and each other as evil descends on them and the Scott brothers find the women who will rule their hearts and help break the curse once and for all. Graelen Scott is hell bent on breaking the family curse that has plagued him and his brothers forever it seems, in his mind. Separate from his brothers, he is in a life and death race with the one woman who will either be his salvation or his death in PENTACLES OF MAGICK: THE BONDING.
This was the first book I have read by Ms. Gayle and I’ve got to say, I was captivated by her wonderful yummy alpha male characters and the strong women who go toe to toe with them in one fashion or another. In the first book of the Pentacles of Magick series, we meet the Scott brothers, all whom are witches and when together, they have the ultimate power that can corrupt their souls. In THE BONDING, we see how the series begins and meet Graelen Scott, a man who made this reviewer sit up and take notice. A take charge guy, he finds himself separated from his brothers and then he meets Rena, a woman who wants to help but is she his greatest help or his death? The dynamics between these two singe the pages and man; I wanted a cold shower after these two characters dueled with more than words.
Ms. Gayle writes with a sure strong stroke of her pen as she captures the Scott brothers perfectly and the reader gets a glimpse into a world where there is magic, curses and other good things that keep you enthralled. THE BONDING is the first of the Scott brothers’ series and I am off to grab the next three so I can see what happens next in their quest to defeat the curse and live happily ever after with the women who rule their hearts. Get ready for four yummy brothers to set your temperature rising and to make those long winter nights one hot delight. I am looking forward to reading more of the Pentacles of Magick series and to see what happens next.
