Paranormal/Paramilitary Romance
Shaiha
Tansy Meadows has finally found happiness with her photography far away from people. Her gift of tracking people almost broke her mind once and she has no intention of risking it again. Then Kadan Montaque shows up on her mountain needing help. Someone is playing a murder game and if he doesn’t find out who the players are quickly, the Ghostwalkers are apt to be blamed and eliminated. And to make it even more interesting, when Kadan meets Tansy he discovers that she is the one that he has been programmed to mate with.
Ms. Feehan has once again done a phenomenal job with her characters. Tansy is a woman that has given up on ever touching or being touched due to her enhanced abilities. She is finally content with her life as it is. However meeting Kadan has her wanting more, especially as he can touch her without causing pain. But she is very unsure of whether she will be able to track these killers without losing her sanity.
Kadan is a man without emotions. However touching Tansy brings him both warmth and emotion. He is not sure what to do with either. But he does know that if anything ever happens to her, he will go insane. Yet he has to allow her to risk herself to find these killers. Tansy will accept no less.
Both characters are rather flawed but they find that working together makes them stronger and heals their insecurities. We also get a chance to catch back up with some of the Ghostwalkers from earlier books. What more could a person want?
This whole book reminds me of a chess game with every move towards catching the killers being carefully orchestrated. It is a chess game that will keep the reader at the edge of their seats. This is not a book for the faint of heart as both the sex and violence is graphic but one well worth reading. Be sure to pick up your copy of MURDER GAME today.
