THE BLEEDING DUSK is a rare book where the characters evolve and gain strength, maturity and their hidden depths come out amid the pages. With each page, I was eager to see what Victoria would do as Max, Sebastian and her Venators meet a fight that has a many pronged attack. With emotions rolling, hearts divided and inner demons to conquer, Ms. Gleason deliver a series that delivers many twists, turns and “OH MY GOD!” moments amid the pages of THE BLEEDING DUSK.
In THE BLEEDING DUSK, it is a year and half later and Victoria is now the Illa Gardella after her aunt is killed. Seething emotions that race through her, Victoria is a character that has you rooting for from the beginning. Complex and with many hidden layers, Ms. Gleason delivers a heroine that is kick butt, take no prisoners type yet also shows her vulnerability as she deals with love and losses. Add in two very different yet hunky men fighting for her charms, THE BLEEDING DUSK delivers a story that will keep you hanging until the bitter end as you try to figure out what will happen between these three. I do highly recommend reading the first two books before this one as each book catapults to the next one.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the third book in this really intriguing series. With multi-dimensional characters that continue to grow to the next book, Ms. Gleason delivers a stirring series that will keep you highly entertained from start to finish and delivers an ending so unexpected that you will race to read the next one just to see what happens. This is an author I am definitely keeping on my auto-buy list from now on as she can only get better with the next book in The Gardella Vampire Chronicles.
If you enjoy a kick butt heroine, some really hunky men fighting for her affection and fast paced action that leaves you breathless, then run, don’t walk to grab THE BLEEDING DUSK…….it will definitely surprise you in more ways than one.
