Her conversations with Rion sends sparks flying and feelings she thought long dead and buried awaken for this fallen angel. Anahita makes a visit to Rion and feeds from him only to help heal Rex. Things are not what they seem.

I loved this book because it started off with a bang! Rion to the rescue and learning that he is stronger than he gives himself credit for, As for Rex, he had to heal and be away from his lover, knowing that he was loving the very beautiful doctor that helped save his life. He wanted them to be together, no jealousy, just love. There’s a storm brewing and a lot of people could get burned. No doubt I want to tell you everything that happens, but I won’t. There is a cliffhanger to this wonderful and burning story. This is a must read! Hold on to your hat, this story burned me in the best way. Rex and Rion and Noemi and Anahita will have you begging for more as I was. Ms. McBride, I can’t wait for the next book, until then I’ll keep reading this book and burn on!
