There is a prophesy or as some would believe a curse handed down from generations of the Temple family. It is said a set of twins will be born with enormous psychic powers. Maddie and Sarah are powerful empaths. On a fateful night, their lives were changed forever when their father was killed in an accident and Sarah is left comatose.
DARK LEGACY is a suspenseful tale featuring some powerful characters. Readers are introduced to Sarah and Maddie early on so we get an idea of whom they are. Maddie has become a doctor but she is barely coping with what is happening to her. At first glance, she comes across as a fragile creature, on the point of breaking but as the story progresses; readers will see how strong she really is. The author gives us a thorough and heartbreaking description of what she is going through. The same is true for Sarah as she is being used like a guinea pig in a lab. The storyline is complex and the primary focus is on Maddie. Of course, this wouldn’t be a romance unless there is a love interest and we get it in the form of Dr. Jarred Keith. He is trying his best to help Maddie and she does her best to alienate him. They make for a great coupling, as it was entertaining to watch them go at it as they deal with the myriad of issues.
DARK LEGACY will definitely please fans of paranormal romances. It is an entertaining romp into the world of the Temple twins. With the ending as written it does seem like there could be a sequel to this story and I would be interested to see what the future holds for the Temple twins.
