PRINCE’S FIRE is the second book of the series by author Cara Carnes and even though I didn’t read the first one, Warrior’s Woman, I was still able to figure out the storyline and the characters. Ms. Carnes is a new author for me and this story doesn’t disappoint. Full of erotic passion, humor, mystery and the right amount of alpha males to drool over, I was blown away by PRINCE’S FIRE. Intriguing characters, a fast paced storyline and some of the hottest sex scenes I have ever read, Ms. Carnes definitely delivers one wild ride from start to finish in PRINCE’S FIRE. Just a note, there are scenes that may not appeal to some.
Here you meet Gitana Dawson, a woman who longs for a home of her own and to find her lost sister. Growing up hearing childhood stories of a world and people she thought were all make-believe has her bemused when a hunky man comes out of thin air and practically makes her panties wet from his voice. Soon they both are trying to race from enemies, Gitana is trying to figure out a way to make herself believe that this is real and the smoking sex they have is electric! Add in magical powers, an enemy within and gods, you get the makings of one engrossing book. I really enjoyed the way Gitana made sure to stand up for herself when she was overwhelmed by Val’s alpha high handedness. It made me laugh and want to see how he would react. Add in several twin siblings all making mischief as well, PRINCE’S FIRE is definitely one of those that will have you laughing one minute and groaning the next.
If you enjoy a story full of hot, sinfully sexy heroes, strong heroines and powerful magic with a dash of mystery to boot, then grab PRINCE’S FIRE.I am racing to grab the first book to see how it all began. I am hoping the next book isn’t long in the waiting as I am anxious to see which brother will be next to fall for a strong woman who will give him a merry chase.
