Megan Rose is a woman running from an abusive ex-husband. She turns to the only person she has left; her estranged younger sister. Sick and exhausted, Megan shows up at Jenn’s house unannounced and totally unexpected. Jenn unceremoniously turns Megan away.

Jenn’s brother-in-law Dr. Ethan Tulane has just adopted Simon. Ethan is a single parent and in need of someone to care of Simon while he is at work. When Megan arrives on Jenn’s doorstep, terribly sick and unwanted, he offers to take her in. It is a perfect solution. Megan needs a place to stay and he needs a nanny. But will Megan’s ex-husband find her before Ethan can confess his growing love for her?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Megan is just one of the characters who turns out not to be as they seem. There are some pleasant surprises in store for the readers of SIMON SAYS MOMMY. Author Kay Stockham has penned some fascinating characters. I think Simon is just about as cute as he can be. Normally a child that acts like he does would be a spoiled little brat, but coming from his background it is all based on fear. This little character is totally heartbreaking at times. And it is so wonderful that Megan is there to help Ethan understand where Simon is coming from.

Ms Stockham is a wonderful storyteller and an excellent writer. I hope this book flies off the shelves as readers flock to buy it. Harlequin Romance lovers cannot go wrong with SIMON SAYS MOMMY.
