CLICK TO PURCHASE! Jessica Jarman delivers equal parts of desire and frustration in her second Fey Series fantasy, WATERS OF FATE.

When Fey Princess Neiva sees her mate in the WATERS OF FATE, she is both shocked and intrigued. When the King of the Fey’s second in command and good friend Rhys realizes Fate has paired him with his close friend’s much younger daughter, honor and loyalty have him denying the pairing again and again. Frustrated and despairing of ever having a life with her intended mate, Neiva leaves the Fey Realm for the land of her mother, the human world. A dangerous enemy follows her there, but luckily for Neiva, Rhys is assigned to keep her safe, and he takes his duty to his King very seriously.

Jessica Jarman’s WATERS OF FATE was a fun and often funny story of frustrated love and danger among Fey royalty. Princess Neiva is young, impetuous and is ready to experience all life has to offer, including the mate that Fate has decreed for her. Rhys is much older and has a lifetime of service to his King as both a protector and friend to consider when Neiva informs him that he is her intended. The thought of being mated to Neiva is both exciting and appalling at the same time. He feels mating her would be a betrayal to his King on many levels. His frustration at the pairing is both heartfelt and humorous. The ensuing chase when enemies follow Neiva to the human world was so vivid, this reader could easily imagine Rhys’ crazed reaction and the fall out from his actions/inactions as if it was happening in front of her.

Jarman’s imaginative writing style and dark sense of humor make WATERS OF FATE a truly enjoyable read that fans of the Fey and fantasy books will thoroughly enjoy. Jessica Jarman is an author that this reader fully intends to keep an eye on.
