Buck with the help of mysterious and sexy Dr. Lian Herrick, is in a race against the clock to find out who and what is causing these murders because until he stops it, more people will die.

I absolutely loved this story. It was a fast paced, highly charged ride a minute. DEMONS ARE FOREVER opened with a gruesome murder and it picked up steam from then on. Add in multi-dimensional characters, tight writing and a roller coaster of emotions, you’ve got the makings of a story that sucks you in and then spits you out after the last page is read. Ms. Hayworth delivers an action packed ride with some heart melting passion that singes your fingers and I swore the computer screen was going to melt from the tension between Lian and Buck. Will Buck get the killer(s) in time? Who and what is Lian? Loads of questions that are answered by the end of the book and I am really hoping Ms. Hayworth continues with Buck, Lian and a host of enjoyable secondary characters.

DEMONS ARE FOREVER introduces you to a world where a freak event has changed the DNA of many and now what were once legends and myths are now the norm. Fairies, vampires, demons and more live and work alongside humans yet something or someone is committing murder and it is up to Detective Buck Shand to figure it out. Buck is a strong alpha hero with his own mutation to deal with. He is frustrated over the dead ends he keeps getting after each murder and frankly, I wanted to soothe him with a massage from the stress of it all. Toss in Lian Herrick, a woman with a mutation as well but Buck has a hard time figuring it out. All he knows is, he wants her in the worst way. The sexual tensions between these two are so explosive that when they do come together, it almost sets the monitor on fire. Both Buck and Lian are perfect foils for the other and Ms. Hayworth keeps the characters interesting by drawing out the revelations and secrets that are between them.
If you enjoy mystery, remarkably life like characters and exquisite storytelling, then grab DEMONS ARE FOREVER and settle in for a pulse pounding ride. I am looking forward to more from this talented author in the future.
