Lt. Eve Dallas is about to find her hardest case yet as a fellow cop’s daughter is brutally murdered in their home while the parents were away on a mini-vacation. A game of cat and mouse begins as Eve digs into the past to find her killer. Will she be in time to stop this madman from taking another life?

I have to say each time a new JD Robb book comes out, I am the first to grab it from my library. This prolific author has created a series so rich in characters that the reader is glued to the pages as Eve takes on one bad guy after another. It is no different in KINDRED IN DEATH. This time a decorated fellow cop comes home to find his daughter murdered and Eve is assigned to solve the case. Can she do it before another death occurs? The reader is on teeter hooks as Eve and her fellow officers as well as her hunky husband Roarke race against time to catch the murderer and solve the increasingly complex case. I love Ms. Robb’s writing style and this latest In Death story is no exception. With beloved characters the reader grew to love throughout the series to some new ones making their way to the forefront, Ms. Robb delivers a story so rich in characters that you feel like you are coming home again and a gripping storyline that leaves you breathless when the last page is read.

KINDRED IN DEATH
takes place several months after Promises in Death and we get to see how some of the characters are dealing with that plus deal with the latest murder case slapped on Eve’s desk. Add in a fast paced, edge of the seat storyline, the reader is enthralled from start to the climatic finish. I swear Ms. Robb keeps getting better as she moves forward in each In Death book. All the characters are multi-dimensional and evolve with each story, Eve especially. I am not going to go into details for those who may have not read this one yet but all I can say is “More Please” to Ms. Robb.
KINDRED IN DEATH is truly one of those rare books that the reader will go back to read again and again. I know I will again after reading the entire series all over again just for pure enjoyment. Ms. Robb delivers in KINDRED IN DEATH and I urge you to race to your nearest library or bookstore and grab it. You won’t be disappointed.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW
