With a fast paced storyline, complex characters and some really hot scenes, Ms. Summers delivers an emotional story that will capture your heart from the first page.
Meet Cassidy, a woman cruelly widowed while pregnant and now trying to make a life for herself and her child. Feeling the ice that is inside her soul, she is intrigued by a BDSM book she spies at her sister’s place and ends up finding a Master who takes her to places that she never felt before. From internet chats to public meetings, Cassidy finds herself giving into the one man who stirs her like no other. Cassidy is a complex, wounded soul and the reader is drawn to her after a few pages. You get a sense of how this heroine’s life has changed and what she fears above all. Ms. Summers deftly captures exactly who Cassidy is and who she becomes as Dorian draws out the woman underneath all the pain. With a deft touch, Ms. Summers captivates you until the very end. Dorian Jenner is a strong Dom who knew in an instant Cassidy was to be his but he also saw how fearful she was as well. With the right amount of pleasure and pain, he begins to show her, under the guise of Master Draken, who she really is and how sweet passion can really be.
Ms. Summers is a gifted storyteller who really gets the emotional layers of her characters and shows the reader their vulnerabilities. UNMASKING DORIAN is a highly seductive story that will leave you eager for more. I look forward to reading more of Club Velvet Ice and the wonderful world of BDSM that this author has created.
