Madison Belle has decided to make the best of running her family’s ranch. It is a quiet and lonely business, but someone has got to do it. But her quiet life is about to be shaken up. She finds some children hiding in her barn, running away from a father they feel does not understand them. Now Madison has to deal with this rough, yet tenderhearted man.

Walker has enough going on in his life as a single father and law officer of a small Texas town. He does not need a woman complicating things. And Madison is nothing but complicated. But soon, that isn’t the only complication in his life. Will this new situation ruin the budding romance between these two?

This book had some interesting twists and turns that kept me turning the pages. There are characters that the reader can really sink their teeth into. One is the young and pregnant Ginny. She is a teen with a terrible home life. I could only hope that as the area’s law, Walker could protect this poor girl.

Walker’s own daughter came across as a spoiled little brat. However, as we delve deeper into MADISON’S CHILDREN we soon learn why she behaves the way she does. And soon my heart was going out to this child as well.

Author Linda Warren does a remarkable job in telling this story and I was not disappointed when I turned the very last page. The story flows smoothly, moving for scene to scene flawlessly. It is clear that Ms Warren has done a wonderful job polishing her craft. So don’t hesitate in purchasing this book. Enjoy.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW.
