As anyone who is on the staff of a cat knows the beings of the feline species are intelligent, curious, creative, play games and can fill your life with hours of amusement and joy. Simon Tofield’s character cat is the epitome of what those of us who live with cats know and love about them. Okay, sometimes we grit our teeth at some of their antics, but over all, they are a source of amusement on a regular basis.

In SIMON’S CAT, through some wonderfully creative drawings, Mr. Tofield takes you into the world of both himself and his cat. In the pages I saw many traits of my own furfaced children commonly called cats. Each one gave me a smile while many had me laughing out loud. SIMON’S CAT is one of those truly 5 heart books that you can sit and enjoy in an hour and then go back and savor each creative depiction of Simon’s cat. The art work is intricate and appealing to the eye. It’s a book I’ll pick up and flip to different pages over and over again.

Need a fun gift for someone? Or just want to treat yourself? Pick up SIMON’S CAT. Even if you aren’t a cat person you’ll enjoy totally it.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW.
