Skylar has been hiding from her ex-boyfriend’s parents for four years. Now she finds herself running her family’s ranch, hoping it will be a safe place for her and her daughter. If she could just get along the foreman, Cooper Yates.

Cooper has a chip on his shoulder for good reason. And he definitely does not like Skylar. But he has to either work with her or move on. The High Five has been his home for years and he doesn’t want to leave. Will they learn to work together without wanting to kill each other?

LOVED this book! I remember reading the story of one of Skylar’s sisters as well so most of the characters were known and familiar, but this is a completely stand alone book.

Author Linda Warren has penned a book with some life lessons that our main couple must learn in order to grow as people. Ms Warren talks about Sky’s spoiled little rich girl past and how much she has grown up in the past few years since she has had the sole responsibility of keeping her daughter safe and healthy. I always enjoy a heroine who grows and comes into her own. Cooper is a man who has to fight past demons and learn to not let them define who he is. At first I thought he was a jerk, and he was. But we soon learn that he has had some hard knocks in his life. It is just time he learned to not let the past claim his future.

Sky and Cooper have stimulating chemistry that is apparent from the beginning. This is a couple worth cheering on and wishing only the best for. SKYLAR’S OUTLAW is a great read and one that Harlequin fans should not miss.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW
