Her TV career starts and almost fails when she realizes that when Jack is around, her power is turned off. She can’t see a thing anymore. But fate and destiny have a way of throwing a curve ball and you can’t always see the forest for the trees.
I absolutely adored this book. Claudia Carroll is a great author who knows how to write quirky, humorous characters that crawl into your heart. The dialogue is snappy and I had a few laugh-out-loud moments on the train while reading this book. At first I thought this was going to be another chick-lit about girls worrying about their nails and the newest Manolo’s. I was delightfully surprised. We’ve got a touch of the paranormal and yes, Charlene is like that, but Cassandra is a perfectly normal girl. Well, apart from her psychic gift of course. Jack is a great hero too and Ms. Carroll pens them all together to give one rollicking ride of a read. I read that this book will be filmed by the producer of PS I Love You, and I do hope they keep all the original dialogue in it. I will certainly be at the cinema to see this one!
