Meet Kalen Ysindroc, a decorated general in the King’s army. Sent on a mission to find out why the borders are stirring, he ends up finding out more questions than answers. With his long time lover, Micheil Theirauf at his side, they find out there is more than meets the eye of Karlen and that there are too many pieces not fitting the puzzle. These two characters literally step off the pages and into your heart. I loved how these two meshed together. Both are strong and determined men yet with each other, there is a vulnerability that shows through that stole my heart. Mr. Black delivers multi-dimensional characters that keep you on the edge of your seat from all the twists he gives you within THE LOST SON.

THE LOST SON is a wonderful introduction to the world of Socendor and the inhabitants there. I am eager to see more of this wonderful place and hope the author doesn’t keep me waiting as THE LOST SON left me eager for more adventures of Micheil, Karlan and their allies. If you enjoy a high octane story full of magic, romance and secrets to discover then grab THE LOST SON and get ready for one wild ride from start to finish.
