Welcome to Lucy Monroe's guest blog!

If you could choose of your books for a movie, which one would it be and who would you as the cast?

I see all my books as movies in my head. Weird, huh? I'm just a very visual person. The book I've been told most frequently should be made into a movie is READY. As far as who to cast for the roles, I got Hubcap to help me with the casting as I'm hopeless at remembering actor names. For Lise, he thinks Felicia Day (The Guild) and for Joshua, he suggests Paul Telfer (NCIS guest spot) and I'd have to agree. :)

If you could travel through time to visit a special time period or famous person, what or who would it be and why?

Oh, man...this is easy...I'd go back to when Jesus walked the earth and though I think I'd be asking for tons of clarifications, I'd no doubt just get lost in his love and presence. LOL

If you could change places with one character from your book, who would it be and why?

None of them. I really love my own life and enjoy writing about theirs. :) Besides, I get to live each of their lives as I put their story to paper...the best of all worlds.

Do your characters lives sometimes take over a part of your life? Can you name an example?

Yes. Just ask anyone in my house what I get like when I'm writing the black moment and you'll get a hint of how closely interwined my character's lives get with mine! They all know not to talk to me for fear of getting "Alter-Lucy" instead of my usual perky self. LOL

Do you have living role models for your characters?

Well, all of my heroes have a bit of my husband in them or they couldn't be heroic for me. He's my biggest inspiration for the sexy alphas I write, but my kids inspire me too. Especially as they've gotten older, I find bits of their personalities rubbing off on my heroines and heroes. And of course, everyone around me feeds the creative well from where my characters spring. It's just like in real life - we all rub off on each other. :)

Do you listen to music while you are writing and if so what music is it?

Yes, absolutely. Tons of different ecclectic stuff. Jazz, genre rock, classical, some modern (courtesy of my kids) and favorite movie soundtracks. For me, music is hugely impacting...the right tempo can help me write faster, the wrong lyrics can toss me out of my zone, it's actually really important to pick just the right stuff for whatever scene I am writing. For instance, last night I wrote a love scene while listening to Cher. :)

Children of the Moon Book 2

If it were up to him, Talorc—laird of the Sinclair clan and leader of his werewolf pack— would never marry. But when the king orders that Talorc wed an Englishwoman, the lone wolf is shocked to find his mate in the strong-willed Abigail. And after an intensely climactic wedding night, the two fiercely independent souls sense an unbreakable bond…

Deaf since childhood, Abigail hopes to keep her affliction from Talorc as long as possible. And for his part, he has no intention of telling her about being a werewolf. But when Abigail learns that the husband she’s begun to love has deceived her, it will take all of his warrior’s strength—and his wolf’s cunning—to win his wife back. And Talorc will have to face his biggest challenge yet: the vulnerability of a man in love…

I just bought a copy of Moon Awakening and can't wait to sit down and read it. I have heard so many good things about it and just have to see for myself.

Just give me a call and I can always find an excuse to come over there.

Okay...I just need to find your number. LOL I didn't send you MC 'cuz you aren't fond of paranormal. I didn't want you to feel like you had to read it. Now, I'll be dying to hear what you think! LOL
