Hannah wants to ignore her powers. She certainly does not want to hone and perfect them. And that is exactly what sexy Edwin wants her to do. He needs her help and although she resists and refuses, he won’t take no for an answer. Their mission: to save the Eight Realms.

Edwin is a part-vampire bounty hunter. And he needs Hannah’s telekinetic powers to help him to destroy the Demon Lord, Andre who imprisons those with magical powers. Edwin also finds himself incredibly attracted to Hannah. And on what level is that attraction…as a woman, or as a meal? Can they protect the supernatural world?

THE ART OF FANG SHUI
is not just a vampire tale. It contains other paranormal and supernatural beings and I enjoyed the variety, witches, demons, goblins, and even a wolf-butler. I must admit I am not a huge paranormal reader, but I did like this one. And as I haven’t read all that many, this one seemed very unique to me. Author Sandra Sookoo has given us some sexy and sensual characters in Edwin, a part-vamp who is out to defeat a dangerous villain. He needs the help of Hannah who has the power of an enhancer. And Hannah, she is most reluctant to help him as she has suppressed her power for five years, but cannot help but find Edwin attractive and appealing and even though she is human, she has a mysterious hold on him.

Ms Sookoo’s writing is fast paced; the action keeps the reader on their toes and turning the pages. Her characters are well developed, enchanting, and totally believable…okay, so not ALL of them are enchanting, but many of them are! I enjoyed her take on the paranormal beings that are found in THE ART OF FANG SHUI. I was thoroughly entertained reading this book and hope to have the opportunity to read the others that are coming in this series, hopefully soon! If they are as good as this one I shall willingly revel in them.
