Famous for her Wolf Tales, Kate Douglas presents with the Demon Slayers a wonderful and very exciting new paranormal series to her readers.

When reporter Eddy Marks finds a naked man in her garden shed she never thought that this encounter would turn her life upside down. Because the naked man is Dax, a fallen demon who came to Earth because the Demons from Abyss (Hell) have found a way to enter Earth and the balance between good and evil is in danger, when the Demons start wreaking havoc in our world. With help from Eddy and some other friends he takes up the fight against the Demons and the clock that is ticking down.

What I really liked was the way the story was told in a kind of countdown till the day where Dax’s own power would turn against himself. This way of story-telling sucks the reader into the story and keeps the suspense level very high. It was the first story that I have ever seen written that way and it keeps the reader glued to the pages. There isn’t one boring moment in the book.

DEMONFIRE is an absolutely fascinating story that will stay with you for quite awhile after reading the book. Ms. Douglas did a terrific job with the world building and her characters are absolutely fantastic. You can’t help but fall in love with the mysterious and oh so sexy Dax.

A small warning, you will never look at any kind of figurines the same way like before reading this story.

I can hardly wait to read the next book in the series, Hell Fire, which will be released in September 2010.

If you are a fan of paranormal romances, this is definitely not a book you want to miss!

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW
