Alexa Wells is not sure who she is any more. The memories inside her head are not hers, she is sure of it. Determined to find out who and what she is, a trail that leads her to a life she never knew and a man who insists she is his in more ways than she could possibly know. Secrets and more come out as Alexa finds herself on the path with the past and present while trying to stop the one man who is determined to use Alexa regardless of the cost-to herself and to others.

STRIPPED is a fun, fast paced story that sucks you in from the first page. I never read anything by this author before and was blown away by STRIPPED. Full of intriguing plot twists, complex characters and a passion that doesn’t take away from the story had me flipping the pages to see what would happen next for Alexa and Matt. Can Alexa find her past to have a future with Matt, the one man who loves her like no other has-or that she can remember? That is the question that runs through STRIPPED and the climatic ending will keep you intrigued until the very end.

Meet Alexa Wells, a woman who has someone else’s memories and life. No idea who or what she is, she sets on a journey of finding out just that but never expects to find Matt York or the truths he speaks to her. Secrets come out that shock her to the core and when bad guy Robert Gamboldt shows up, all bets are off as Alexa tries to figure out a way to stop Robert, figure out who and what she is and live to tell about it because this time she isn’t about to go quietly. What a great cast of characters this author assembled. I love the kick-ass heroine; Alexa as she tried to figure out her past and in the process finds her future in Matt. Ms. Colette keeps the reader intrigued by these two and frankly, I wanted to know more after I closed the book. With some wonderful secondary characters that kept the story flowing, Ms. Colette delivers a story that will haunt you after the last page is read.

STRIPPED is one of those stories that have it all- a great castoff characters, fast pace storyline and plenty of twists to keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved STRIPPED and hope this author journeys back into Alexa and Matt’s world again. I would love to see some of the secondary characters have their own stories told as well as revisit with Alexa and Matt too. If you need an urban fantasy snack, then grab STRIPPED from Marcia Colette. It will blow you away and then some.
