Senth Antonello, a half-kin/half-human, is at the top of his game at the elite Thieves Guild. Doesn’t matter he is just eighteen either. When he gets the opportunity to free his brother for taking one job, he grabs at it. Just one stipulation-He has to stay a virgin. Can Senth resist the lovely NarrAy Jorlan or will he succumb to the desire that flares each time they touch?

AT THE MERCY OF HER PLEASURE is the first book in the Antonello Brothers series and set in the Tarthian Empire. I have to admit, I am huge fan of the Tarthian Empire series books. I cannot give bigger praise to an author who created a series set around some amazing characters, creatures and worlds. With a huge backdrop like this, it can be said that sometimes you get some lackluster stories but for Ms. Allen that is not the case. Each time she pens one of the Tarthian Empire books, she just gets better. I can admit that I may be a bit biased over my pleasure at this series but this truly has something for everyone in the series-from M/M to light bondage to M/F pairings. Ms. Allen is a masterful storyteller who creates something that fairly steps off the pages and it feels like you are right there with the characters as you eagerly flip the pages to see what happens next. Each story is truly a work of art and the reader is enthralled by it till the very end.

Meet Senth Antonello, an accomplished thief & half-kin/half-human, who is determined to free his brother. When he gets a plum job assignment, he eagerly agrees to do it though not without finding out that he has to stay a virgin. Can he resist the temptation that is NarrAy Jorlan? NarrAy Jorlan completely controls her pheromones that have had her past partners addicted to her. As a Better, she finds herself drawn to the sexy young thief even as she is determined to steal back something that belongs to her family. Can she be able to taste the forbidden that is Senth without falling for him? We met these two briefly in Surrender Love, another Tarthian Empire story and I was thrilled to see this author give us their story as well. These two characters fairly leap off the pages and settle next to the reader with gusto. I loved the way these two danced amid the pages-sometimes leading to a kiss or more then dancing back to safer zones. It was like watching a well choreographed dance number with the way the characters flowed back and forth. It was truly surprising at how much I fel in love with the Antonello Brothers and add in some familiar characters from past Tarthian Empire stories; you got the makings of feeling like you came home after a long journey whenever you open one of this author’s books. Multi-dimensional characters, a fast paced storyline, mystery and some simmering sexual tension keep the readers on edge as AT THE MERCY OF HER PLEASURE draws the reader in and never let’s go until the very end.

Ms. Allen is an author that always gives something for the reader to enjoy and read over again. Like a magician, she weaves a spell around her readers with her books and delivers a story that leaves you spellbound. If you enjoy a series that is full of intriguing characters, romance, mystery and more-I highly recommend any of the Tarthian Empire books to delve into. I am eagerly awaiting the next Antonello Brother’s story and hope Ms. Allen continues with creating stories that live long in her reader’s hearts long after the last page is read. This is one author that is sure to be a force to be reckoned in the futuristic genre in the years to come. Run-don’t walk-to grab AT THE MERCY OF HER PLEASURE and settle in for a wild adventure set in worlds that will carry your imagination to new heights.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
