CLICK TO PURCHASE! Jericho Bastillo has loved Wendel Spears for over six years, even after he became a Berserker and she became a Valk at the same government shadow agency. Now Wendel has been rogue for over six months and this time it is up to her to bring him in for if she doesn’t, all hell will break loose for a missing computer code falls into the wrong hands and can spell the end of the Berserkers…even Wendel. Can Wendel and Jericho work together to stop this and heal the hurts from long ago or is it too late for them both?

Well all I can say about this book is wow! Ann Vremont delivers a fast paced, hot storyline to keeps you intrigued till the very end. With some amazingly complex characters, simmering sexual tension and a mystery to solve, this is an author who delivers one wild twist and turn with each page while you squirm from all the heat Jericho and Wendel create between them. I loved the dynamics of these characters and you had better have a bucket of ice to cool down with afterwards. These two strike sparks that turn into an inferno, I swore the computer was about to explode from all the heat they were generating.

Meet Jericho Bastillo. She has become a Valk in the O.D.I.N group and the one sent after Wendel when he goes rogue six months before. Jericho has loved Wendel for the last six years and after he kills her father and disappears, she finds her life changed when she entered the Valk program in ODIN. Determined to get Wendel to listen to her, she never expects her feelings to get in the mix and working with him again, has Jericho on edge. Can she get Wendel to admit his feelings for her before it’s too late?

Wendel Spears thought he lost Jericho when he was forced to become a Berserker six years before. Finding out she is a dreaded Valk has him on edge even as he deals with his brother’s murder and going rogue. Now working together, can Wendel trust Jericho enough to let the love that simmers between them to flare or will it not survive the mission they are on?

Dang if these two characters don’t heat things up from the moment they first appear together. I loved how Jericho is not the “wimpy” heroine but one full of sass and able to take whatever Wendel dishes at her, be it passion, barbs or hurt feelings. Ms. Vremont completely captures these two souls even as they try to ignore the heat that simmers between them. I found them highly enjoyable and got me more intrigued in the series as other secondary characters where introduced to keep the story flowing smoothly.

DEATH’S SEQUENCE is short, fast paced ride with some really wonderfully characters that will steal your heart. With some hot scenes that will singe your fingertips, Ms. Vremont delivers a beautifully crafted story to introduce you to the world of O.D.I.N. All I have to say is- settle in for a ride kids; It’s about to get extremely bumpy. Run to grab the first book of this wonderful new series and I hope this author doesn’t keep us hanging for the next book. I look forward to more from this talented author in the future.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
