THE SEEKING KISS introduces the reader to the Midnight Playground, an exclusive sex club just for vampires that is by invite only. When I read the premise for this book, I was very intrigued and Ms. Bradley does not disappoint in her first installment of this new series. I love the characters in this story. It was hard not to decide what one of the two vampires (Hex and Aleron) I loved more throughout the book. Nissa completes them perfectly and the way the author was able to showcase their vulnerabilities and desires amid the pages of THE SEEKING KISS kept me glued to the pages till the very end.
Nissa is an orphan who for as long as she has been alive craved to join the exclusive vampire club, Midnight Playground, in London. The world has changed and Nissa is determined to become a vampire before she is thirty. When she finally gets that coveted invite, she finds her life changed in ways she never expected, especially as she falls under the spell of Hex and his vampire lover/maker, Aleron. With them, she finds her darkest desires blazing out of control and a love that will surprise them all. These three are blazing hot together. Ms. Bradley does a great job in creating multidimensional characters to root for and I was blown away by the sheer magnetism of Hex and Aleron. They are a duo that had me wishing that I could join the Midnight Playground myself; just to experience it for myself. A wonderful cast of secondary characters kept me intrigued and I am looking forward to seeing if this author uses them in the future books. Overall, the story was fun, hot and very intriguing.
THE SEEKING KISS is one whirl-wind of a ride from start to end. This is an author who really has the knack of getting into her characters and drawing them out for the reader to enjoy-vulnerabilities and foibles included. This was the first book I read from this author and I am eager to check out her back list for more books to enjoy. If you enjoy a highly intriguing vampire ménage story then grab THE SEEKING KISS. It will surely make you melt just from the heat that it generates within the pages. I highly suggest you have some ice cubes or your significant other nearby to help cool you down after reading this. I look forward to future installments of the Midnight Playground in the future.
