The Psy world is changing and human cop Max Shannon, has no way of climbing higher in their power structure. He’s very surprised to be given the case of a murdered Psy Councilor, with a Psy J partner. Max is surprised to find himself enjoying her company but he hadn’t expected a cold Psy J to turn him on.

Justice Psy, Sophia Russo has been told to work with Max, despite the fact she’s on the verge of a meltdown even after undergoing conditioning. It was the last type of case she’d been expecting to work on. Her mind is filled with evil nightmares from the cases she’s handled, but Max somehow seems to help keep her focused. Sophia is determined to keep going and bring an evil killer to justice.

BONDS OF JUSTICE is an intriguing story and very different to the previous books about the Psy-Changeling world. The main characters are easy for the reader to bond with, in this well written tale of murder and espionage. Long held alliances begin to change in the world Ms. Singh has so skillfully built, as councilors try to eliminate those who stand in their way. They try to control the Web while bringing Silence to the Psy, whether they are ready, want it or not. Nikita tries to stop the zealots and also pulls out a hat trick. As in all the previous stories the characters all have interesting goals, producing a story filled with intense action and intrigues. I’m sure anyone who has read any of the previous books in the series will look forward to this one.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
