COMING UNDONE is a story that will have you cheering, sighing and shouting over with each page. Here you have got a tattooed Harley driving bad boy who has a heart of gold and a woman driven to give her daughter a normal life even as she fears her past coming back to haunt her. Ms. Dane delivers a stirring story that will make you melt from the first page. I absolutely LOVE this series and with each book we see more into the world of Erin, Brody, Adrian and their friends & lovers. Strong characters, tight writing and a storyline that had me in tears in the end; this is what makes this book and series so wonderful in my mind. I do have to mention this is highly erotic as well. There are many scorching sex scenes that will leave you gasping and eager for a cold shower or your significant other.
Meet Elise, a former premier ballerina and single mom who is trying to make a normal life for her daughter, Rennie. She moves to Seattle, opens up her dance studio and finds life working out wonderfully, especially as she falls for Brody Brown, her next door neighbor who is so hot, he should wear a warning sign. Brody Brown wasn’t looking for love but he found himself falling for Elise and her little girl. Charmed and enjoying Elise’s company, he finds himself falling in love and when Elise’s past comes out in the open, Brody will do whatever it takes to protect the two ladies he considers his family…..even as he forces Elise to face her fears as well. Oh dang, what can I say but I absolutely adore bad boys, tattoos and motorcycles. Ms. Dane completely blows me away each time with her marvelous stories and I find I can’t put down the book for anything-even for food. There are complex characters, strong storyline and a romance that has you sighing then squirming in COMING UNDONE. This is an author who knows her characters and lets them lead the story. I love that about Ms. Dane. She delivers such emotional stories that hit on all levels-happiness, sadness, joy and tears. This is what makes her stories so rich and colorful. Add in some wonderful recurring characters that we met in LAID BARE and it is like a cherry on top of a sundae. I loved seeing the characters from LAID BARE again and it made the storyline flow smoothly.
COMING UNDONE is a perfect sequel to LAID BARE and one that I read in less than three hours after I got it in the mail. Pure perfection and one book I plan to read over again, this time with my significant other beside me. If you haven’t picked COMING UNDONE or LAID BARE, then I highly suggest you pop on over to Amazon or your nearest Bookstore. They will heat up your nights and leave you satisfied in the process. I look forward to the next installment in this wonderfully told series and hope it won’t be too long.
