CLICK TO PURCHASE! Amber Green’s GOLDEN BOYS is a fast paced and suspenseful romantic adventure for two boyhood friends now grown.

Ethan grew up as part of a solid, moral and God loving black family. So when he had to tell his parents that he failed med school and then followed up with the announcement that he was gay, he really wasn’t sure which “sin” was the bigger disappointment for them. Then his uncle asks him to contact a childhood friend as a favor for the FBI. That’s when things get interesting.

M/M author Amber Green’s GOLDEN BOYS is fast paced and filled with action. The main characters, Ethan and Jell, have known each other since childhood when they shared a secret mutual crush, unbeknownst to either of them. When they meet again as adults, the chemistry sparks just as the action heats up. The secondary characters, family members of Ethan’s, are colorful and add a solid and believable, tight knit family element to the story.

Green’s writing style is comfortable and easy to fall into. The story flows well and the characters are believable. The element of suspense takes the story beyond mere erotica. This is a story of hope and promise and the hurdles that make up a good romance. Though the story is short, at just under seventy-five pages, it was a good read that fans of M/M romance will enjoy.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
