LOVE MEANS…NO SHAME is the beginning of a new series from a wonderfully talented author. His writing delivers a story that will capture your heart and leave you breathless from beginning to end. Mr. Grey delivers a wonderful tale of love that will keep you spellbound till the very end. I started this in one afternoon and had to finish it immediately. The characters are very well done and the storyline flows smoothly, letting the reader gradually see inside the hearts of the characters. With the right amount of tension, desire and romance, this is an author who knows how to weave a story that grips the reader and doesn’t let go. I have to admit, Mr. Grey is my favorite author to read and he doesn’t stop delivering stories that steal your heart.
Meet Geoff, a young man who lives and works in the city. He is lonely, having one night stands and generally searching for something that he can’t pinpoint. After going home to bury his father, he finds himself happier than he has ever been and determined to work the farm like generations before him has done. Geoff is a wonderful character you can relate to. Who hasn’t searched for something in their life for that one thing that will make them happy-be it love, career or family? Eli is living away from the Amish Community for a year to see the outside world and to have some experiences. Falling asleep in a barn, he doesn’t expect to meet Geoff, a man who gives him a job, home and something more. Eli is innocence personified. I love the fact Geoff had all this experience and Eli was so innocent. It made the relationship that grew between them much stronger. Both were strong characters and the story flowed around them smoothly. I really enjoyed meeting some wonderful secondary characters and look forward to reading about them in the future books of the Love Means… series.
LOVE MEANS…NO SHAME is a story that will haunt you after it is done. It leaves an impression on your heart and the reader is longing to know more afterwards. I found this to be a tender and romantic story that had me crying at one point then laughing at other times. You feel the emotional connection Eli and Geoff have and as it grows stronger, both characters grow, evolve and become surer in their relationship. LOVE MEANS…NO SHAME is a true romantic story that I am eager to read again. Want a beautiful told love story that leaves you breathless? Grab LOVE MEANS…NO SHAME and settle in for a story that will have you saying “I Love you” to your significant other when the last page is done.
