Dakota Holden was just finishing up his first year of medical school when he has to return home full time to help care for the family ranch and his father, who is dealing with Multiple Sclerosis. Years later, devoted to his family and ranch, Dakota goes on a one week vacation and the last one had him on a cruise striking up a friendship with Phillip Reardon. His friendship with Phillip kept him from being entirely lonely and when Phillip comes out for a visit, he brings along a friend, Wally Schumacher. Sparks fly between Dakota and Wally as they find they have a lot in common. Can Dakota and Wally find a way to bridge their differences and believe in the love that is growing between them?
A SHARED RANGE is another great story by my favorite M/M author. Mr. Grey delivers an emotional story of two people who find so much in common out on the Wyoming range and that by being true to themselves they can find a love that is everlasting. With each book that you read from this author you find the whole package: great story, captivating characters, friendship that turns to love and much more. I adore this author’s writing style because you can actually feel the emotions the characters feel within the pages and you can’t help but fall in love with them as well.
Meet Dakota Holden, a man who gave up a promising medical career to help care for his father and the family ranch. Once a year he takes a one week vacation to sow his oats and this past time, he finds a friend in Phillip Reardon. When Phillip comes for a visit, he brings a friend, Wally, who intrigues Dakota with his innocence and his way with animals. The sparks smolder between them as their friendship turns to something more. But can Dakota and Wally find a way to be together even as their differences come out into the open? I love Wally and Dakota. Who doesn’t enjoy a good looking cowboy to drool over? I know I sure did. I was half in love with the man before Wally came onto the pages and when he did, oh my god….he was so sexy in that small package that I was drooling even more. Add in some wonderful secondary characters that had me giggling as it kept the story flowing and you have the makings of an entertaining read.
A SHARED RANGE is one adventure after another as the reader is taken on a journey with Dakota, Wally, Phillip and their friends in the wilds of Wyoming. Andrew Grey delivers on his latest release and is one of this genre rising stars. If you enjoy a character driven story that touches your heart and emotions, then pick up any of this author’s books and settle in for an evening of romance, friendship and acceptance. A SHARED RANGE is one of the best stories I have read in a while and I definitely will be reading this one again.
