FLASH OF DARK introduces the reader a world full of fae, vampires and all things paranormal that live among the humans here on Earth. Ms. Brookes does an admirable job in introducing the reader to this wonderful world in her first book in the Rebirth Series. The writing was tight, storyline had a few twists I didn’t see coming and the sparks between Ana and Stark were quite hot. I have never read one of this author’s books before and found FLASH OF DARK to be quite engrossing and enjoyable. It was definitely a story I would love to read again in the future.
FLASH OF DARK is a great, entertaining read that delivers a few twists that had me gasping, two main characters who were perfect for one another and a storyline that drew me in till the very end. Sara Brookes is a talented author who knows how to draw her readers into her web and keep them guess what happens next till the very end. Her characters were exceptionally well written and there were a few secondary characters that had me intrigued to see if they pop up in future Rebirth Series books. If you are looking for a paranormal romance with main characters who throw sparks, a mystery and more, then grab FLASH OF DARK. It will keep you highly entertained till the very end. I look forward to reading more in this series in the future from this author. I just hope it won’t be a long wait.
