Queisha Saint-Denis’ life was saved and her savior died instead. Her savior, Chance Godricson, is now her guardian angel and fights with his developing feelings for her. Her life gets really complicated when the parents of the twins, for whom she was a surrogate mother, die and the kids come back to her. The big problem is that she suffers from agoraphobia, but she plans to be the best parent for them. But what really turns her life upside down is the co-guardian of the kids, Chance, who has been sent back to earth. She finds him irresistible, but when she learns his secrets, she worries that they have a chance for a future together.

I was absolutely captivated by this book and couldn’t put it down. The story is wonderful and shows that true love conquers all and can overcome all obstacles. The main characters are absolutely loveable and you can easily identify with them, I was a little worried when I read about Queisha’s phobia prior to reading the book and I wondered if it would work or not, Annette Blair’s typical humor is as present as in any of her books.

BEDEVILED ANGEL is the second book of the Words like Magick series, but it’s such a problem to start the series with this book and I will definitely pick up a copy of the first book in the series, NAKED DRAGON, because I am curious about how everything began.

I can hardly wait for the release of VAMPIRE DRAGON in April 2011. This series seriously rocks.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
