CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE! Dee Summers is living on the run. After having witnessed her father and brother torture a man, she had been willing to testify against them. But things went wrong when her safe house was found out, the two FBI agents protecting her were killed and she was left alone to go undercover. But she survived and is now in Hawaii, working as head bar keeper in a BDSM club. She’s told the owner that she is not into the lifestyle, but she is the best in her job.
Micah Ross, co-owner of the club hasn’t been able to keep his eyes off the woman, since she came to work for him and now he hardly can suppress the need to put his hands on her. As a Dom, he recognizes that Dee would be the perfect submissive, but she needs to be convinced of it. Finding out she’s a virgin would normally put him off, but Dee has wriggled her way under his skin. Just as he’s making headway with her, her past rears its ugly head and she disappears. Micah goes after her and finds her, only to realize that he might lose her.
Melissa Schroder has done it again! This is an absolutely fantastic read that knocked my socks off. I loved the characters, especially Micah….oh what a man, totally alpha but with a heart of gold. He could initiate me in the lifestyle any day. Dee is just right for him. She’s learned to handle herself, defend herself and is a strong woman, but also shows a vulnerability and a need to be dominated. I really enjoyed reading how Micah courts her, his control over his desires and the slow breakdown of Dee’s will. It was sensual, sexy and the sexual tension was pulled really tight, so that when they finally did the deed, everyone, including the reader is satisfied! The plot is very exciting. Ms Schroeder writes a tight story that is paced very well. The whole relationship with Micah and Dee, the situation with the FBI, the bad guys showing up and I must admit, at the very end, when Micah makes his declaration…I cried!
I can only say that you HAVE to get this book. I can guarantee you will devour it in one sitting and head back to Ms. Schroeder’s publisher and pick up her backlist. sYou will not be disappointed!
