Megan West is determined that her cousin’s wedding will be perfect. But when Logan Doyle threatens to disrupt the happy couple’s wedding vows, Megan sees red. She goes toe to toe with the handsome cop, but Logan has some news that not only changes the lives of some of the guests, but her own too. Logan cannot resist a damsel in distress and sets off with Megan, to help her find out about a part of her past she though long dead. Fortunately Megan’s cousin finds her happy end, but there’s another marriage that needs saving and although Logan and Megan don’t hit it off well. Everyone else seems to think, that there are sparks of attraction sparking between them. Maybe there is something in the stars for them?

Oh, I did enjoy this read. As soon as Logan appeared on the pages and Megan went toe to toe with him, the pages just fairly sizzled with sexual attraction. Cathy Linz gives her readers a roller coaster of a read. The characters are multi-dimensional. The leading characters will steal your heart and you’ll be rooting for them. There are some really interesting secondary characters that will capture your attention too. The plot will keep you turning those pages and I had to read it in one day, to find out how it all works out. I did find the story a little predictable, but Megan’s story did turn out surprising. I enjoyed the smart, snappy dialogue and I often had a smile on my lips.

I think those readers who enjoy a good contemporary romance will enjoy this one for sure.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
