Christy Trujillo’s third book in her Maldito series, SARAH’S FATE, is a young adult paranormal romance that readers of any age will thoroughly enjoy.

Sarah has left her crazy vampire hunting parents and moved across the country to New York to attend college. She has landed a job waiting tables and performing at a restaurant close to campus and her very attractive boss has taken an interest in her. Life just doesn’t get much better. Andres was taken from a family of vampire hunters at a young age and turned into a vampire. He has spent most of his life trying to make up for being a vampire and staying to himself. And then he meets Sarah.

This reader really enjoyed Christy Trujillo’s latest young adult romance, SARAH’S FATE. The characters in this book are all strong, colorful and charismatic. For someone so young, Sarah really has her head on straight. She thinks her family is a little kooky and is glad to be starting college and being treated like an adult. Andres is handsome, dominant and a wounded hero. The story flows along nicely, told alternately from Sarah’s and then Andres’ point of views. There is just enough mystery and romance to keep things interesting. For this reader, the best thing about this book was that while you read it, you felt as if you were becoming part of the story. You remember what it felt like to be that young and have every experience be new and exciting. Trujillo’s writing style really is perfect for the young adult genre. Fans of any age will thoroughly enjoy Christy Trujillo’s SARAH’S FATE. Don’t let the YA designation stop you from picking up this fresh new look at paranormal romance.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
