Within the first page, I was drawn into the emotional story about Jonathon and Greg, sniffling at times as the emotional storyline got to me. Within a matter of a few chapters, Mr. Grey delivers a soul stirring story that leaves you gasping as the plot twists and winds its way to the end. I can’t say enough about this author’s work. They are emotionally charged with characters that fairly step off the pages and into your heart. Will Jonathon find a way to live again after the loss of Greg? The reader finds out in his journey in ACCOMAPNIED BY A WALTZ. With each page of this newest book, Mr. Grey slowly weaves his spell around you, making you grab for tissues before you can smile and root for Jonathon to get his second chance at love with Fabian.

Meet Jonathon Pfister-teacher, partner and lover to Greg and feeling like he has the best life right now. That is until tragedy hits and he loses the one man he has ever loved. Jonathon is a character I fell in love with right from the beginning. He had a rough childhood but pulled himself up and it could have destroyed him but it didn’t. Jonathon is a strong hero that had his faults but also had a gentle heart and soul that stole my breath away. I felt that goodness inside of him outweighed that bad childhood completely and the love of a good man also helped in my opinion. Fabian was a pure delight. He balanced Jonathan and had me smiling in delight as Fabian showed Jonathon how much sweeter love is the second time around. The sparks flew between the two the moment they met and continued until the very end of the book. I loved how these two had a friendship that turned to love. It made the story more real to me. The secondary characters helped keep the story flowing smoothly and it did have a few “Oh My God!” moments that had me on the edge of my seat.

Overall, ACCOMPANIED BY A WALTZ is sweet, emotional and tender story of two people finding their way to one another. The plot weaves its spell around you from the first page and frankly, I was loathed to put it down. The characters make the stories in Mr. Grey’s books and these were no exception. The waltz scenes had me smiling and I never knew how romantic dancing to the waltz could be until now that is. I fell in love with ACCOMPANIED BY A WALTZ and know you will too. Run-don’t walk-to grab this latest book from the talented Mr. Grey. You won’t be disappointed! I cannot wait to see what else Mr. Grey has in store for his readers in the future.
