CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE! Haven Jessup has lived next door to Dakota all his life and for the life of him, he has no idea why his father and Dakota’s father hates each other so much. Meeting Phillip Reardon, Dakota’s friend, has left Haven feeling discombulated and confused by the feelings he has for him. Phillip accepts Haven for who he is and finds himself falling for the young man. When secrets come out about Haven’s father, will it tear the new couple apart or bring them closer together?

Andrew Grey is fast becoming one of GBLT’s rising stars and one I have on auto-buy. Whenever he comes out with a new book, I am practically running to grab it. His writing is tight & the characters so well written, you feel like you could meet them for coffee on any given day. A TROUBLED RANGE delivers Phillip Reardon’s story, who we met in A SHARED RANGE.

I love the fact there were some old and new characters here to enjoy and we got to see how Dakota and Wally have been since falling in love. There were a few secondary characters that had me itching to see if this author will write a story about them in the future, they were that intriguing.

Phillip Reardon is laid off and at loose ends when he comes to visit his friends Dakota and Wally in Wyoming. Flitting from man to man was his way but lately he has felt a bit off while watching his friends find lasting relationships. Yearning for that kind of commitment, he never anticipates falling for Haven Jessup, the shy, young man next door. Sparks fly as Phillip and Haven find that falling in love never felt so right. I got to admit I fell for Haven and Phillip immediately. Phillip was the older man, determined to get his life in order but never anticipating that the life he imagined was on a ranch with his friends. The connection between Phillip and Haven starts off slowly and builds until you can fairly see the desire, longing and love beginning to wind itself around them. I swore the computer was about to combust from all that sexual tension. The characters were delightful as they grew in the story, at times I felt like I was right there with them as they dealt with the little twists this author loves to throw in to keep the reader glued to the edge of their seat.

A TROUBLED RANGE is more than two people finding love but also about family secrets coming out in the open, acceptance of one’s self and finding that love is not something you look for but one worth fighting for. Andrew Grey delivers a solid, sweetly romantic and delightful story that will leave you clamoring for more after the last page is read. A TROUBLED RANGE delivers cowboys, romance and mystery all rolled up within its pages. Andrew Grey has another winner with his follow up Range story and I, for one, want to know when he will be back to the wilds of Wyoming again.

If you are looking for a sweet and sexy M/M story to enjoy then grab A TROUBLED RANGE then settle back. It will be a hot and bumpy ride. I am eager to see what else this author has up his sleeve in the future.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
