Fianna Meadows was once a spoiled and pampered fae. Banished from the Faerie Court, she now works in a werewolf bar, has no powers and lives as a human. That was a year ago and she is still learning how to live life as a human being. Things are not so bad though. The bar’s sexy owner, Greg Novak, gives her feelings and emotions that she’s never felt before.

He is nothing more than a jailer, but what he feels for Fianna has him in knots. His honor code doesn’t allow him to get involved with a woman who has been put in his care. Still, Greg can’t hold back anymore, especially when Fianna is willing and his Grandfather has commanded him to get married.

Someone is killing werewolves and Greg promises to find out who is behind the killings. But it may mean he has to give up Fianna.

I have read the other ‘Motor City’ books and really enjoyed them. I was very pleased to be able to read this one for review and really enjoyed it. I have always wanted to know what happened to Fianna after her banishment from the Faerie Court. Life was looking up for her until the killings and attacks started.

Ms. Pape writes a tight story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The plot is a page turner and has some great twists and turns. Ms Pape also gives her readers some interesting characters and some very hot love scenes. The sexual tension between Fianna and Greg practically gets the monitor steaming. You will be rooting for this couple right up to the end, where I had some wonderful ‘aahh’ moments. So, if all these elements have whetted your appetite, then go right away and pick up this book, then you’ll want the other ones too because they are good.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
