Out of necessity Lady Viola Preston has become the Mayfair Jewel Thief. With the support of mother, sibling and niece on her shoulders, she has found her most unique talent to assist in her jewel procurement. Upon hearing of a lieutenant recently returned from the East and his possession of a “fist full of jewels” she embarks on a quest to obtain them. Unfortunately, before she can make away with the jewels, said lieutenant captures her.

Lt. Greydon Quinn has his own share of secrets, mostly from a sad childhood incident. Fleeing England he purchased a commission and traveled to India where he befriended the crown prince of Amjerat. With his time of service complete he has returned to England and finds himself on another quest.

When Quinn captures Viola in his rooms he believes he has found the way to right a seriously done wrong. While he may have captured Viola, she unwittingly captures something dearer yet to Quinn.

What a fun series of twists and turns with some very enticing romance. In TOUCH OF THIEF Mia Marlowe takes what would have been a wonderful story of a jewel thief and transforms it into a fabulous tale. With the addition of a bit of the paranormal—and not your run of the mill paranormal—oh no, this is a marvelous twist on psychic ability—Ms. Marlowe gives her readers an intriguing, can’t put down story.

She deftly blends in some of the most tantalizing love scenes, taking eroticism to a wholly different level. Her writing is tasteful, believable and just plain fun. I can’t wait for the next installment of her Touch of Seduction series.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
