When two beasts find her Mei is not only confused but turned on as well. Can Mei trusts the two not to harm her or is she taking the risk of her life by bringing them into the bunker she calls home? Will the two turned men show Mei what love can be?

This story is set in the wonderful world that this author has built. A virus has turned all the men into beasts and most women must hide and fend for themselves. I have loved each and every book in this world. This book brings us new characters to love. Mei may be a blind woman but she is stronger than many of us. She has lived a hard life and longs for love, a love that she may now find with two young men who show up at her home. Even though the virus has turned Derek and Jay they still retained some of their human side. Each one is a good man at heart and they show how much they care for Mei right from the start.

As quick of a read as this book is the characters and story are full of depth and emotions. Mei must overcome her fears not only of abandonment but of also being a burden on others. Jay and Derek show their many emotions as well. They are young men who themselves are still trying to understand what has happened and how to deal with things. All of this makes for a great read which pulled me in right from the start, keeping my attention all the way through. I hope that we get to see more from these three and their world.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
