How long have you beenwriting? What inspired you to pick the pen up one day and create charactersthat capture the imagination?
I’ve been writing sinceI was a wee boy.  I feel like I have towrite, it’s a compelling need to create with words.

What makes yourcharacters so vulnerable yet strong? Can you describe them to us? What doyou do when characters stop talking to you when writing?
I really have no ideawhat makes them vulnerable yet strong, they just tell me who they are and I gowith it, I don’t question much in regards to my characters or my muse.
They never stop talking, that’s the problem.  They all stay alivein my head and I look at them all as friends who have something to tell me,like all friendships I nurture my characters and in doing so they never stop talking.

Youhave some great secondary characters in your books. Will we see spin offs inregards to them in their own story lines? Do you prefer writing series booksover non series or does it matter?
Thankyou!  I actually have a series alreadyplanned.  Book 1 is out for publication, keep you legs crossed!  I’m not a seriesperson unless that’s where the story takes me. As for spin-offs…right now, no. It’s forward and onward.

Whatdo you think is the level of sensuality/heat in your books? What can readersexpect from your books with respect to sexual content and sensuality?
Ithink the sensuality is a 10; I like to play with the sensual world.  I think readers can expect a dangerous, dirtytime.  Hang on tight.

Pleasetell us about your latest/upcoming release(s). What are they all about?
Lilyis about wanting something back that is taken from you, getting it back and thepain in realizing you have to let it go…again.

What genre do you write in? Is there a genre you haven't tried yet but want toin the future?
Iwrite Erotica and Horror but know there is a kids book in me…somewhere.

Whatis the last line of your last WIP you worked on that you wrote?
How I longed to see the earthmove, but I was left craving, and hungry.

What do you do for fun/relax? Any hobbies?
Anythingnot involving a keyboard or computer screen and everything involving the oceanand drinks.

Isthere a story that you’d like to tell but you think the world isn’t ready toreceive it?
Yes,many.

Ifyou could be one of your characters - Who would you be? And why?
The one I haven’t written yet because I would still be elusive andunknown.

Whatdo you do on a typical writing day?
Write.  Seriously, 4-6 hours aday.

Canyou please give us an idea on what you are working on for the future?
I have a print collection coming out very soon called Ménage, whichwill contain three of my novellas.  Ialso have another novella coming out with Seventh Window publications called, EarthlyConcerns.

What’sbetter to write about-perfect characters or flawed ones? And why?
Flawed, because perfection is overrated.

Whenyou have writer's block how do you break free?
Turn off the computer and get out into creation.

Fewfun ones:

Ifyou could travel to any time period, where would you and why?
The 1900’s; I really identify with the civility and gracious nature ofthat time.

Hollywood has come calling and are interestedin <Lily>. You get to pick the actors to play the main characters<Pryor and Ned>. What book do you choose and who do you choose to playthese characters?
I think I would choose Lily and the actors would be actors who wereactually Gay.  It’d be revolutionary.

Whatis one of your favorite foods to enjoy?
Peanut Butter

Anyweird cravings when writing?
Salt water taffy

Hello Xavier,

Thank you to Love Romances & More for hosting Xavier Axelson. Also a Big Thank You to Xavier for taking time out of your day to spend with Us & Congrats on the release of your 1st Paranormal M/M Story, "Lily". I just LOVE your Cover, it's Amazing; 2 Gorgeous Men & those captivating ice blue eyes of the wolf...it just reaches out & grabs the Reader!

I just Love when Blogs Sites host Authors that are new to me, especially M/M Authors, because I really enjoy the Interview questions & answers. Once you answered this one question, I couldn't get to Silver fast enough to read MORE of an excerpt from "Lily"....the question was....
"What do you think is the level of sensuality/heat in your books? What can readersexpect from your books with respect to sexual content and sensuality?

I think the sensuality is a 10; I like to play with the sensual world. I think readers can expect a dangerous, dirtytime. Hang on tight."

Oh Yea, definitely my kind of Author & you gained a Fan, I already became a Google Friend Connect Follower of your Website/Blog under the name of: PaParanormalFan... & that Excerpt on Silver....OMG you just HAD to end it there....I said to myself, Noooooo, don't end it now!!!! What a Teaser, I have to read Pryor & Ned's Story

Not only is "Lily" a M/M Paranormal Romance (never would have guessed I Love Erotic Paranormal by my name? LOL), it has Werewolves….but it’s also much more….you added a fresh new twist….it touches on Family & has strong emotions as we read what Pryor is going through when his daughter Lily is taken by a wolf.

I would very much appreciate the opportunity for a chance at your give away to receive an e-copy of "Lily". Thank You.

Take Care & Happy Valentine's Day,
