She is all he can hear at times and she just won’t shut up even when Ari finds himself in the midst of the newly changed wolfmen. Will the ever present nagging in Ari’s head ruin his only chance at survival let alone love?

This book was a great read. I enjoyed meeting Ari and the wolfmen. Ari is a good man who must find his own way and let the past rest. The pain that his wife put him through has left its mark and if he lets it rule him he may just loose his chance at a happy ever after. When Ari meets Zach his world is turned upside down. Not only is he part of the wolfmen pack but he is also a man and Ari has always pushed that want deep down and hidden it from even himself. Zach is a great man. The virus may have changed him but he still loves with all his heart and would give anything for Ari. I enjoyed seeing the two work through their relationship and find out just what it was.

We also get to see Ari interact with the rest of the pack in this book. We watch while he teaches them many things and helps them learn to survive on the island as well as how to interact with each other. I really love the world that this author has conjured up. Each of the characters vividly come to life and emotions jump off of the pages in this story. It was nice to see the way Ari relates to each of the characters and I hope that Grigori and Zeke get a story of their own. This was a great starting point to what I hope will be a long series.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
