Pryor’s daughter was taken by a wolf and he is convinced she will come back to him. He longs for the day when Lily can come home. But Pryor may find out that the return of Lily is the least of his problems when danger stalks not just him but his lover, Ned.

LILY by Xavier Axelson is a haunting tale that will send chills up your spine while reading it. Mr. Axelson delivers a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the story as you feel Pryor’s anguish when he loses Lily to the hope of a new love in Ned and the obsession of finding Lily again left me breathless till the very end. This is an author who knows how to keep his readers glued to the pages with mesmerizing characters and a fantastic story. The characters are quite enjoyable, well written and very life like. Mr. Axelson does a masterful job in captivating Pryor’s grief, hope, love and anguish all within the pages of LILY that you were hoping for Pryor to have his happy ending with Lily-even if it wasn’t meant to be.

LILY is a story that was a perfect to read on a cold winter’s night, with the wind howling like a wolf’s cry and a story that was equal parts loss, love and hope. With the right amount of sexual tension between Pryor and Ned the story moved with a few twists that had me sitting up with my mouth agape. Xavier Axelson is an author who, with his deft touch, weaves a spell around his reader and breathes lightness in the darkest of tales.

If you are looking for a spellbinding story to enjoy that is equal parts light and dark, then grab LILY and settle in for an adventure that send chills down your spine. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
